My passion, curiosity & consistency that has shape my service, & the story behind my brand itself... Here are my six values, hand crafted around my values tree to serve as a personal compass, to guide decisions, shape behaviour & give little minds a clear sense of purpose.

Understanding & untangling a child's frustrations rather than punishing them, creates a space for the awareness of self & helps them feel better equipped to deal with emotions that arise in the future.
Integrity:
Matching words with actions helps create a secure & trusted environment for the child to grow & thrive.
Kind Hands & 'Using Your Words' :
Encouraging the child to talk through feelings that arise & express how it made them feel. This helps the child to better understand where the feelings came from & how to better deal with them in the future. This creates boundaries across the board & encourages frustrations that arise to translate through words & understanding of big emotions that arise which can be detangled & ironed out.
Honesty:
Encouraging honesty even when the child is wrong teaches accountability, & shows honesty is valued over perfection, which falls hand in hand with integrity.
Staying Curious & Asking Questions:
Staying curious quenches the thirst for new experiences, & supports the child's understanding of the world around them. This is a vital part of the child's growth & development & encourages critical thinking, active engagement & the love of learning.
For a long time I was stuck on what to do for my logo, until I received a Christmas card from a little girl at the end of my time working with her.
Inside the card, she drew a picture of me & her, side by side, me reaching for her hand. I thought to myself “this is perfect!” It's everything I want my brand to stand for!
So today, I wear this hand drawn, stitched-in image with pride, close to my heart to represent my brand. It captures a child-centred service, hovering above, my brand name “Nanny, How Do I?” encourages the child’s natural curiosity, a place to grow, learn & remain curious through all stages of life.
